Navigating Challenges Together

"A shared joy is a double joy; a shared sorrow is half a sorrow."
— Swedish Proverb

Welcome! My name is Laurie, and I’m glad you stopped by.

I’m a medical librarian and health coach with a background in laboratory science and clinical data analytics.

I help individuals and caregivers navigate complex healthcare environments, understand medical research, and find the resources they need to make informed decisions.

By combining health research expertise with compassionate coaching, I provide thoughtful guidance for people facing chronic conditions, including those affected by mental health struggles, complex diagnoses, the challenge of caring for aging loved ones, and general health support to help you achieve your health and wellness goals.

Navigating the healthcare system can feel overwhelming. Medical information is complex, treatment options and test results can be hard to interpret, and finding the right specialists or resources often requires extensive research, even with the help of AI.

BioLyra Health was created to help people make sense of this complexity. Drawing on my background in medical librarianship, healthcare, and health coaching, I assist clients in locating reliable information, exploring treatment options, identifying community resources, and moving forward with greater clarity and confidence.

Some clients come to BioLyra Health seeking help researching specialists, clinical trials, or treatment options. Others want support navigating the healthcare system or understanding medical information. Many are simply looking for a knowledgeable and compassionate guide as they make lifestyle changes to support their health.

Whether you are managing a chronic health condition, caring for an aging parent, or trying to better understand a recent diagnosis, BioLyra Health offers research support, healthcare navigation, and compassionate guidance along the way.

I’m especially interested in working with people who experience overwhelm and burnout, often related to stress, a history of trauma, or chronic health concerns.
